Are you a talented Junior/Mid-Level UX Designer, currently working in an agency environment who’s looking for an exciting opportunity to work client side?
I’ve got a unique opportunity, working for UK-wide brand to come on board and help with the design of a brand new product, which is used daily by their staff across the UK. Working alongside the UX Lead, you’ll work on making the App & Customer portal as accessible and inclusive as possible, whilst ensuring modern design principles are followed.
We’re looking for pro-active Designers who has a creative flair, but also understands a user-first methodology – part of your role when you first start will be getting a real understanding of their needs and how the product can help their day-to-day work and in some ways increase both productivity and marketability.
Ideally you’ll have 1-3 year’s experience in a UX Designer role, within either an agency, or a fast-paced client environment. You’ll be working and collaborating with Software Engineers, working in 2 week sprints – they’re a nice bunch, but ideally you’ll have experience working with Software Engineering teams. The UX team for this product is small, but you’ll be given a fantastic chance to build your knowledge and work closely with the UX Lead, who wants to invest their time improving your skills & knowledge, as well as giving you the creative freedom to showcase your talent.
They’re currently using Figma as their design tool and are in the process of moving from Jira to Azure DevOps by the end of October.
Salary wise they can pay between £30-35,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits package. The role has a remote first policy – with the team visiting the office for collaboration when necessary (you can visit the office more regularly if you prefer being office based).
If this UX Designer opportunity sounds of interest to you and you’d like to find out further details, then please send your CV and portfolio to Fusion Talent and one of the team will be in touch.
(Ideally your Portfolio will give both finished examples of the work you’ve done, but also the design process/thinking around the design – sketched wireframes etc…I know this isn’t always possible due to NDA’s, but they’d ideally like to see them if possible).
