Are you an experienced Software Engineer looking for a new opportunity/the chance to work on greenfield projects?
We’re working with one of the UK’s most exciting brands in the PropTech sector, who are looking for Senior Software Engineers to join their product team. The business is in a really exciting period of growth –they increased their headcount by over 120 people in the last 12 months, which includes Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, SDETs, Data Engineers and Security Engineers, who are working in cross-functional Agile squads on cutting-edge and customer-centric software solutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be working in a cloud-based microservices environment, writing both unit & integration tests and have a real focus on coding standards. During all stages of development, you’ll have a focus on security & performance and be a role model/mentor for junior members of the team.
Ideally you’ll be able to demonstrate commercial experience in the following technologies:
- C#
- .NET Core
- JavaScript/TypeScript/Flow
- React
- TDD
- Cloud experience (preferably Azure)
- Git (or other Version Control Systems)
- Microservices
- Messaging experience
The company offers a remote-first approach, with you ideally being able to travel to the Birmingham city centre office once a month for collaboration (potentially negotiable depending on personal circumstances). They were working remotely prior to the pandemic and have a well-designed process to ensure that you feel part of a team and are supported both technically and as an employee.
Salary wise they can pay up to £60,000 + Benefits package.
