We are looking for a Software Engineering manager who’s passionate about creating empowered, high performing teams. Ideally we need somebody from a software development background, to lead a product team, encourage continued learning and nurture talent within the team.

The Software Engineering Managers time will be split between supporting their team and conducting one to ones, working closely with other engineering managers and product team, supporting product strategy, coaching and mentoring with other managers, recruitment and keeping a little bit of time to remain hands on.
Part of the role will include organising weekly internal hackathons and offering external training opportunities, through hands-on technical workshops.
We are looking for someone with the following;
- Software Development background (.NET backend or JavaScript Front End)
- Clear, positive, and honest communicator
- Eagerness to see people thrive and grow
- Passionate about implementing a learning culture
- Experience managing the development of products
- Ability to seek out ways to improve and innovate
- Experience supporting and creating strategy by giving technical guidance
- Experience of hiring and interviewing to support team growth
The Software Engineering Manager role is paying £70,000 with 25 days holiday + additional day for a celebration of your choice. Life assurance, innovation days, quarterly hackathons, employee perkbox and remote working.
