A world leader in logistics systems is hiring for a further C# Software Engineer to join their team. The company supply their exceptional software products to a number of well-known world-wide retailers, and thankfully, this saw the company sail through the last 12 months.

We are looking for a C# Software Engineer who is keen to travel and work directly on customer site alongside other Engineers. You will occasionally be expected to travel to customer sites, based both in the UK and Europe.

As a key member of the software team you should expect to design, modify, develop and implement key software applications and components. You will be working as part of project team focusing on customer projects.

As C# Software Engineer, you will be responsible for enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement. I addition to this you will maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects as well as developing skills in new technologies.

To be considered for the C# Software Engineer role you will need the following;

  • C#
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle (nice to have)
  • Good understanding of Unit Testing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Good time/task management

The C# Software Engineer position is paying £45,000 with additional pay for out of hours support that may be required every four weeks (rota basis). Travel and accommodation are paid for, as well as other travel expenses. You will also receive a company pension and free access to the gym on site. The company are happy to offer some remote working but would ideally like you to be in the office 2/3 days per week.

PHP Web Developer

A company based in the heart of Birmingham City centre are hiring two new Web Developers. The positions have been created to help support with high workload – which is something positive to hear in the current climate!

The company are a close knit, relaxed bunch with a warm family feel to the office environment. The role is currently remote but will be based full time in the office post COVID. They enjoy the fun vibrant feel of working in the office, collaborating with other team members and being surrounded by the awesome offerings of City Centre life, such as the great independents, regular events and award winning street food!

We are looking for two PHP Web Developers, with CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML and WordPress. You will be working on everything from standard WordPress sites, to large scale websites requiring API integration.

The right person for this role will be looking for team they can play an active part in. We want individuals who are keen to learn from peers, enjoy problem solving and get a buzz out of delivering great solutions to clients.

To be considered for the role you will need;

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a PHP Developer position
