My client are a European Fintech leader, who deliver world-class software solutions to a number of blue-chip clients. They’re in the really exciting stage of growth, having doubled in size in the past 2 years they’re now looking for multiple Mid-Senior Developers to join them on their journey. There is currently 70 people within the software team, with a real focus on collaboration and community – including running internal hackathons and holding/sponsoring tech-focused events. The business has the benefit of working like a start-up environment, yet being placed within a recession proof market.

Currently you’ll be working remotely due to current restrictions. Eventually there will be a mix of working from the Birmingham city centre office and having remote/flexible working options.

As a Software Engineer you’ll have full creative influence and set the direction of the technology on each specific solution you’re working on. The teams are currently working on a mix of multiple greenfield projects, as well as having a focus on refreshing architecture and modifying legacy stack using some of the latest technology. Due to the rate at which the company is growing the CTO has expressed the opportunity available to move into a Senior Software Engineer role.

Some of the technology you’ll be exposed to includes:

  • .Net Core. ASP.NET, WebAPI
  • SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • Git, Docker, Octopus, CI/CD
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer for a brand new team that is currently being built in Birmingham City Centre.

As the Data Engineer you’ll be responsible for managing a diverse and complex pipeline of inward and outward data and facilitating and improving the smooth capture of data.

You will be working closely with the data scientists to ensure they have reliable data for experimentation. In addition to this, you will take ownership of data management and be expected to advise on best practice.

To be considered for this new Data Engineer opportunity you will need to demonstrate commercial experience in the following technologies/areas:

  • At least 2 years experience working in a Data Engineer/or similar position
  • Python
  • Docker or similar
  • Cloud Computing
  • Testing and Test Suites
  • Redis

Full Stack Software Developer

A company based in Warwickshire are adding their software team again! Since bringing the Development in house five years ago the company have seen huge success off the back of making this move. They have an established diverse software team made up of Developers, Testers (Manual and Automation), UX/UI, Mobile Developers and Business Analysts. The company have gone from having just one core product to now having five with another two new product launches planned for this year!

We are on the lookout for a skilled Full Stack Developer (C#, MVC, WebAPI, Entity, Azure, JavaScript) who want to be a part of something exciting, where their voice and ideas are crucial to the success of the ongoing development and innovation.

To be considered for the role you will need commercial experience of;
